Meditation and postural awareness: remove the postural habits

November 15th and 29th, 2014 | 10:00h – 11:00h

Mind and postural awareness working in unison.

What happens to our posture when we meditate?

When our awareness is not on the present moment, our mind jumps into the swimming pool of endless thoughts and that has a repercussion in our posture, which usually follows a pattern.

Many times we are sitting aiming to meditate but we can not really look at our body.

Focusing on zooming in and out of the posture can help us to learn what are our postural habits, as a first step to change them and to find peace, and perhaps we can even identify thoughts through certain postural habits, and believe that we don’t need that harming postural habit, neither that thought.
